SF Ponds Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The SF Ponds Scholarship is awarded to postgraduate students (coursework or research) to further the study of forestry. Students that study forest science can apply for the scholarship to fund research project activities, field work, travel to conferences to present their research, to visit research groups or for other activities that further their study. PhD students will need to have passed confirmation and cannot apply past 42 months of candidature. 

Eligibility

For travel: conference attendance needs to be confirmed, abstract submitted and accepted (evidence required); lab visits need a letter of invitation from host organization.

For fieldwork: realistic fieldwork costs need to be submitted, using travel costs applicable to SEFS fleet, casual research assistant cost is not eligible, per diem cost are not eligible

• Honours and coursework Masters (project B) students – up to $1,500


• RHD students (MPhil, MSci, PhD) – up to $2,500
