About the Scholarship

IMC Financial Markets, sometimes referred to as IMC Trading, is a proprietary trading firm and market maker for various financial instruments listed on exchanges throughout the world. 

IMC's support provides a prize for the highest achieving undergraduate female student in the Digital Systems (ELEN20006) subject and highest achieving female student in the Object Oriented Software Development (SWEN20003) subject.

One prize will be awarded to the student who achieves the highest mark in the subject ‘ELEN20006’ Digital Systems.

A second prize will be awarded to the student who achieves the highest mark in the subject ‘SWEN20003’ Object-Oriented Software Development.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must:

  • Identify as a woman
  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science student
  • Have completed ‘ELEN20006’ Digital Systems or ‘SWEN20003’ Object-Oriented Software Development

Conditions

If, for any reason, the subject does not run in the awarding year, the School will select an appropriate alternative subject from the same course and seek approval from the Dean or delegate to award the prize.
