Yvonne Aitken Bursary

About the Scholarship

The Yvonne Aitken Bursary is awarded to an excellent research student in financial need who is performing a research project in the School of Ecosystem and Forest Science in a graduate coursework or graduate research degree.

The bursary is awarded to the student with the highest weighted average mark (WAM) of her or his undergraduate studies and demonstrated financial need. To determine the recipient the WAM is combined with the financial need score, with the award going to the applicant with the highest combined score. 

To determine financial need, students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form (click on hyperlink) and applications will be assessed and ranked by Scholarships & Bursaries.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

  • be a graduate student in financial need and undertaking a research project in the School of Ecosystem Forestry Science

Preference will be given to candidates that have not received this award before.
