Sunshine Foundation Scholarship 2026

The Sunshine Foundation Scholarship is offered to students who are enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science.

To be considered for this award, students must: 

• be enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the Melbourne Veterinary School 
• be confirmed in your candidature 

The ​scholarship​ is offered to the student(s) ranked highest ​by the selection panel based on​ the quality of their application.

When determining the successful candidate for this prize, other awards received by candidates are considered.  

You must submit an application and include:

• A personal statement addressing the purpose of and their commitment to their field of research
• A statement of support from their supervisor

​​Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.​ 

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
