This scholarship is awarded to a Doctor of Philosophy Science student who is undertaking travel as part of their research project. It provides support for national or international travel and research collaboration to include:
- collecting field data
- accessing research materials or facilities that are unavailable in Australia
- working in a laboratory or research institute
- meeting researchers overseas
- or presenting a paper or poster at an overseas conference.
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:
- Academic Merit,
- The potential impact of the scholarship on the student’s circumstances and research project interests, as outlined in their application.
The scholarship is awarded at approximately $2,500, although this may vary from year to year.
