Masson Travel Award 2025

The Masson Travel Award is offered to PhD students to support travel to international conferences, including those held in Australia, as well as international travel for collaborative purposes.

• up to $1,000 for costs associated with international travel (e.g. in-person conferences or fieldwork or collaboration projects).
• up to $500 for costs associated with participation in an international conference that is held in Australia.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

• Be an enrolled PhD student.
• Be confirmed in your candidature.
• Undertake travel before your maximum course duration date; and,
• Undertake travel before submitting your thesis.
• Preference may be given to students who have not received any other travel awards.

*Graduate Researchers need to apply for Study Away if travelling for research-related activities away from the University.

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
