About the Scholarship

The University of Melbourne Botany Foundation (established in 1994) supports excellence in education and research in the discipline of botany. The Foundation provides a number of student scholarships, awards and prizes annually to support students and researchers in Botany. Dr Megan Klemm was the manager of the Electron Microscopy Unit in the former School of Botany, who died on 29 May 2002. 

The Megan Klemm Postgraduate Research Award is supported by the Melbourne Botany Foundation and is offered to students who are enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Botany. 

 

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Botany within the School of BioSciences.

Selection criteria

The award is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application and entry score. 

In the interests of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes from the University of Melbourne received by students are considered.

 

Outcome

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
