John Nevill Research Scholarship 2025

​​The John Nevill Research Scholarship was established with a gift from John Nevill and is offered to students who are enrolled in a graduate research degree with the Melbourne Veterinary School.​ 

​​To be considered, students must: 

• ​Hold a degree in Veterinary Science 
• ​Be enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy – Veterinary Science  
• ​Have met the requirements for confirmation of their candidature​ 

The ​scholarship​ is offered to the student(s) ranked highest ​by the selection panel based on​ the quality of their application.

When determining the successful candidate for this prize, other awards received by candidates are considered.  

You must submit an application and include:

• A personal statement addressing the purpose of their research and how the scholarship will be applied
• Your curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to their field of research
• A statement of support from their supervisor.

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
