Guy Raymond Equine Research Scholarship 2026

The Guy Raymond Equine Research Scholarship is offered to students enrolling in the Doctor of Philosophy – Veterinary Science and undertaking equine research at the Veterinary Clinical Centre at Werribee.

To be considered, you must have applied for and meet the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy – Veterinary Science and undertaking equine research at the Veterinary Clinical Centre at Werribee.

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application and entry score.

When determining the successful candidate for this award, other awards received by candidates are considered.

​​Graduate researchers must submit an application and include: 

• ​Personal statement addressing the purpose of their research and their commitment to equine research 

• ​Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to their field of research 

• ​Statement of support from their supervisor​ 

​​Recipients must: 

• ​Maintain satisfactory academic progress during their candidature 

• ​Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.​ 

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
