Sir Ian Clunies- Ross Prize 2026

This award is for for veterinary research, carried out in Australia, which will benefit the Australian sheep and wool industry. In awarding the prize preference must be given, whenever possible, to research in the field of veterinary parasitology

The prize is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application. Students who are undertaking research in the field of Veterinary Parasitology will be given preference. Other scholarships and prizes received by the students are taken into consideration.

You must submit an application and include:

• Personal statement addressing the benefits of their research to the Australian sheep and wool industry
• Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to their field of research
• Statement of support from their supervisor

​​Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.​ 

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
