About the Scholarship

The Boeing Awards for Excellence is an award supporting women studying Computer Science in the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Extended).

The scholarship will be awarded for academic excellence and a strong personal statement, demonstrating interest and study/career ambitions in Computer Science and the impact of the scholarship on the student's circumstances.

The award is paid as a one-off payment of up to $10,000. One award is made per year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you need to:

  • Identify as a woman;
  • Be an Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident;
  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Extended) majoring in Computing and Software Systems
  • Have completed at least 200 credit points of study.

Selection Criteria

The award is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their personal statement and current weighted average mark.

Application Requirements

You must submit an application and include a personal statement addressing interest and study/career ambitions in the relevant engineering or computer science discipline, and the proposed impact the scholarship will have.

Outcome

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.

  • Round 2 (June-August applications): September-October
