About the Scholarship

The Amos-Macmillan Invertebrate Award was established by the Native Australian Animals Trust and is awarded to students to support research into Native Australian Invertebrates. 

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must: 

  • Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Honours), Master of Science, or Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Science and be udnertaking research into Australian Invertebrates

Selection Criteria

The award is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application and entry score

Application Requirements

You must submit an application and include:

  • A personal statement addressing the purpose of and the commitment to their research project 
  • Evidence of endorsement from supervisor

Conditions

Students must:

  • Agree to acknowledge the funding source in their research outputs
  • Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested. 

Outcome

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
