Agilent Women in Science Leadership Award 2025

The Faculty of Science is committed to championing women in science and endeavours to remove barriers for their participation and success at every career stage.  

The Agilent Women in Science Leadership Award supports women enrolling in a Masters program in the Faculty of Science to pursue study at Melbourne.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• identify as a woman (icis-gender and trans women);
• be enrolled in a Masters program in the Faculty of Science

Two awards are made each year, paid as one-off payments of $5,000.

Successful applicants will be selected by the Faculty of Science Scholarships Committee on the basis of leadership skills demonstrated via an application form, including:

• a personal statement 
• two references addressing the applicant's demonstrated or potential leadership qualities and capabilities (references can be academic, professional, character, etc, but must be able to speak to applicant's demonstrated or potential leadership qualities and capabilities)

Preference will be given to students from rural areas.

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
