P.J. Adams Scholarship 2026

The P.J. Adams Scholarship was established with a gift from the P.J. Adams Research Fund and is offered to high-achieving students who are enrolled in the Master of Science (Earth Science) or a graduate research degree in Geosciences. Preference is given to students who are in financial need.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

• To be eligible for this award, students must be enrolled full time in the Master of Science (Earth Science) or its successor, or in a graduate research degree in the field of Geosciences*.

* For the purposes of this award, Geosciences may include, but is not limited to, Earth Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences or Geology.

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

• Academic Merit: The scholarship is offered to eligible students with the highest course entry score based on prior academic performance
• The applicant’s financial circumstances may also be considered. Please ensure you submit the financial assessment form by the due date.
• When determining the successful candidate for this this award, other awards received by candidates may be considered.

Students must:

• be full time enrolled
• agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their award
• provide a brief report on the benefits of the award if requested.

All scholarship outcomes will be sent via SmartyGrants.
